Send an email to the event coordinator: president@songmakers.org \nWe will play “officially” from 3 pm until 10 pm on Saturday 9/5/2026\, but are making Labor Day a jamming weekend! Old friends are welcome to stay over\, so call if you need a bed and/or want to hang out on with us Sunday 9/6 for the quarterly Zoom board meeting 2-5 pm and more jamming Sunday and Monday\, (actual Labor Day). Come early Saturday for the best swimming time\, especially if you can help me grill the dogs and burgers! Our hot tub will be hot! \nWe play in a circle. Every musician/singer gets one or more turns at which time they may either Perform a song\, Lead a sing-along song\, or simply “Pass.” You are the boss on your turn. If you can’t hear the leader\, you’re playing too loud. We will have indoor and outdoor circles\, and maybe a 3rd at Anne’s house. Anne has also offered guest bedrooms\, but you must RSVP to have a bed\, or to have food cooked for you. \nGrilled burgers and dogs (some plant based) and iced tea will be provided by Songmakers of California. \nWe usually have 10-20 participants at our monthly Song Circles\, but we’ve had over 60 at some of our picnics. PLEASE RSVP to Steve on MeetUp or at (310)699-5755 by September 1st\, so I know how many dogs & burgers to grill! Songmakers nonprofit members only (not just members of the free MeetUp group) but you can join at the door for only $10/year per household. Let’s jam\, swim and munch! Yippee!
