Men of Worth
The real essence of “Men of Worth’ is found in their live performances. Scotsman Donnie MacDonald and Irishman James Keigher are expert musicians and extremely engaging performers, spiking their traditional tunes and heartfelt ballads with wonderfully told tales about their homelands and plenty of unscripted comic interplay. “Men of Worth” are an international act, and have earned much respect and success in over thirty years of touring together. Performing concerts and festivals, with twelve albums to their credit, “Men of Worth” continue the very tradition from which they’ve evolved.
The Browne Sisters
The Browne Sisters & George Cavanaugh have been performing at festivals and concert halls across the United States for over 30 years. Their sets always include several rousing numbers and a few traditional and not so traditional ballads, and always a Gaelic song or two. They are known for making any song their own, while still keeping true to the original work. Sisters Diane, Pamela, and Laura bring powerful lead vocals and haunting harmonies to every song while Cousin George’s strong, unaffected vocals and original guitar style bring a rich and authentic Sound to each piece. They have been called “The folk group for people who thought they didn’t like folk music.”
