John Krug

Donna Krug let us know that John’s Celebration of Life was finally held last week, Saturday April 3, 2021 due to covid.

She writes: “John passed away on March 30, 2020 of sudden cardiac arrest after disability from a stroke in 2017.  I wished very much it had been possible to have Songmakers at his Celebration of life this past Saturday, but all worked out well, one year later.  We were in Songmakers at the time they were at Lee and Janelle’s, though they moved away after about 3 years of attending there. We also went to David and Ann’s on a lesser basis until June, 2017, when John had the stroke. I think David had heart problems by then too. Anyway, John could not play any more and singing was difficult though he did talk and laugh until the end. I may log onto my iPad so I have better access of the Icloud photos though I have some here that are not there yet.

I want people to remember  John as he was a kind person who loved to talk and joke with others, and he loved building and helping people. How often I need his skill at fixing things, but he could no longer do it the last 3 years of his life”.
