Zyetz, Alice Beckerman December 10, 1938 – May 20, 2012 Alice Zyetz, 73, beloved mother, grandma/bubbie, sister, auntie, and friend, passed peacefully on May 20, 2012. Born Alice Isaacs in Brooklyn, NY, she attended Hunter High School and Hunter College, and she earned her MA in education at Pepperdine. In LA, she taught at Arlington Elementary, owned a writing consultancy, and was a longtime member of the Temple Isaiah Hasharim. In her final years, she was a published author and an active RVer, eventually settling at Jojoba Hills in Aguanga, CA. Alice was a vibrant, generous, funny, outgoing woman who loved life and took great joy in family, friends, music, dancing, acting, writing, playing bridge, traveling, and teaching. She and her famous matzo-ball soup will be dearly missed.
